Tamworth Rural Fire Service has confirmed bushfire danger period restrictions in the Local Government Area will be lifted from the first of April.
Fire permits will no longer be required, but residents will still need to exercise caution.
Residents must notify neighbours and their local fire authority at least a day before burning, and ensure all fires remain contained.
