MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDY STEALING ITEMS DURING FLOODS

A man has been charged – accused of allegedly stealing items during Lismore’s flood disaster.

Earlier this month, officers received reports the driver of a red Toyota Prado was travelling throughout the town and loading items into a trailer.

A search warrant was conducted at a home in Clunes yesterday and a 46-year-old man was arrested and charged.

He’s been granted bail to front Ballina Local Court in May.
