URGENT BOIL WATER ALERT FOR RICHMOND VALLEY

Residents serviced by the Casino Water Treatment Plant are being advised to boil their water before drinking.

Due to rain events the water treated from the Richmond River has not met the required standards.

Richmond Valley Council has begun the task of flushing its reservoirs to restore water purity.
