CENTRAL COAST LASHED BY FLASH FLOODING AND MORE COULD BE ON THE WAY

Mother Nature unleashed on the Central Coast – dumping more than 100 millimetres of rain on suburbs in the space of a few hours.

The result was chaos – with roads flooded, and homes inundated.

The SES responded to around 80 calls for help – five were flood rescues, including a schoolbus with a student onboard – between nine in the morning and six in the afternoon.
