A number of motorists have been fined and charged following an operation targeting drug offences on mid north coast roads.
Police from the Taree Local Area Command conducted the operation earlier this week, performing 600 random breath tests and 89 drug tests.
Seven motorists tested positive for drug use, five were charged with drug possession and one driver was charged with goods in custody.
