TWEED SHIRE RESIDENT DIES WITH COVID

The number of hospitalisations and ICU admissions for Covid patients in the Northern Health District has dropped.

There’s now 36 people in hospital, with six being cared for in ICU.

Sadly there was one death in the region, a Tweed resident aged in their 80s.

The number of overnight cases also dropped for the third consecutive day – the region recorded 529 new infections.
