TAMWORTH GRAIN-CRUSHING MILL FIRE KEEPS CREWS OCCUPIED

Thirty fire-fighters spent most of the day at a Tamworth grain crushing mill after a fire broke out early this morning.

Crews were called to the Ridley agri products facility at 8am, and quickly extinguished the blaze.

Fire-fighters remained on scene using thermal imaging cameras to ensure other conveyors and machinery didn’t catch alight.

Thankfully no one was injured in the blaze, and the cause is under investigation.
