Some of the region’s most talented swimmers are gearing up for a tough challenge this weekend, with Pacific Palms to host its annual Rock to Rock ocean swim.
The gruelling 1.5-kilometre race will be held at Elizabeth Beach, and it’s bound to put even the most experienced swimmers to the test.
More than 300 competitors are expected to take part in the event, which will also offer a 600-metre swim for the younger contingent.
Racing will begin at 11am on Sunday.
