NORTHERN NSW CONTINUES TO BREAK DAILY COVID CASE RECORDS REPORTING 485 NEW CASES

As the region continues to break daily covid case records, another 485 were reported today in the Northern New South Wales Local Health District.

The highest numbers recorded were in the Byron LGA with 146 new infections, closely followed by 136 in The Tweed, and 101 in Ballina.

It comes as 20 covid positive patients are now in hospital in the region – four of those in ICU.
