BYRON BAY AND TWEED ENTER LOCKDOWN

Freedom has proved fleeting for residents of the Tweed, Byron and Kempsey shires, with all three now ONE hour into a new lockdown, following covid cases.

There’s also concern for Coffs Harbour, with a new infection recorded there.

The lockdowns have had a big impact on the border bubble – Byron Bay and Tweed are now largely banned from entering Queensland.
