A young man has died following a two vehicle crash in the Northern Rivers yesterday.
Just before 2pm, emergency services were called to Blue Knob Road near Blade Road, Nimbin, after reports of a Kawasaki motorcycle and a Daihatsu had collided.
The motorcyclist – a man believed to be aged in his late teens – died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the vehicle – a 41-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to Nimbin Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Richmond Police District established a crime scene and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
