NSW LABOR ELECTION PROMISE TO KEEP MURWILLUMBAH SCHOOLS OPEN

It’s a long way off, but the state member for Lismore, Janelle Saffin, is already making election promises
If New South Wales Labor wins the next state election she says the four schools in Murwillumbah will remain open.
“The final straw was when I saw the plans for this so called mega campus at Murwillumbah High and it was an upgrade, it wasn’t a mega campus,” Ms Saffin said.
The Labor MP wants to see more community consultation, no job losses and no forced closures of public schools.
The next state election won’t be held until March, 2023.
