An incredible final day at the New South Wales Golf has finished with Newcastle’s Leigh McKechnie claiming his biggest tournament win.
On a brutal day for scoring at The Vintage, McKechnie teed off more than an hour and a half before the leaders,
to post a classy 69 and sit as the clubhouse leader at three under.
He then watched the rest of field battle the tough conditions before eventually claiming victory from James Nitties.
