KNIGHTS COACH MAKES A CALL TO ARMS FOLLOWING SOUTHS LOSS

Despite the loss of Jarrod Mullen and Akuila Uate before the game, Knights coach Rick Stone wasn’t offering excuses for the heavy loss to the Rabbitohs.
He’s indicated there’s likely to be changes for the rest of the season.
“We’ve got to play players that are willing to fight mate. That’s the only thing I’m looking for. Blokes are going to stand up, have some pride in the jumper and fight their butt off for 80 minutes and that’s what you need.”
James McManus will be monitored this week after suffering a concussion.
Meanwhile, the Knights have announced that 23-year-old Carlos Tuimavave has been released from the final year of his contract, to take up a deal with Hull FC in the UK next season.
And 32-year-old former Scone junior Todd Lowrie will return to the Knights in 2016, after signing a one-year deal.
