STOLEN CAR TORCHED IN NORTH TAMWORTH

Fire and Rescue were called just after 2 am last night to a car that had been set alight at North Tamworth.

The vehicle was already engulfed when the crew arrived at Adam Street, the flames spreading to a nearby power pole.

Crews were able to extinguish the blaze and no one was injured.

The Subaru Impreza is believed to have been stolen and police are seeking information on two males and a female seen leaving the area shortly before the fire.
