HORSEMAN PROTESTER CHANGES PLEA TO NOT GUILTY

A movie stuntman who rode his horse at protests during lockdown has changed his plea at what was intended to be a sentencing hearing for unlawfully participating in an outdoor gathering.
Representing himself, Michael Corrigan asked Murwillumbah court to change his plea to not-guilty.
The 52-year-old accused his lawyer Russell Baxter of making ‘incorrect assumptions’ about him at his last appearance.
Mr Corrigan will reappear on May 11.
