MAN PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO DANGEROUS DRIVING CHARGES AT LISMORE LOCAL COURT

A 53-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving after he allegedly ran down two pedestrians – known to him – with his car.

Police were told the two pedestrians had been in an argument before one chased the other down Diadem street.

The injured men were treated at the scene before being taken to Lismore Base Hospital.

The driver was granted bail and is due to face court again in February.
