MULTIPLE ARRESTED IN TAMWORTH

Eight people have been charged following a pursuit near Tamworth yesterday.

it began at Nemingha around 7am after police tried to pull over a Holden Commodore.

It was found abandoned at Tamworth later that morning.

Police searched the area and found five people hiding in a storm water – three more were arrested a short time later.

They’re aged between 13 and 19 and are facing a number of charges.

All were refused bail.
