MICE REBATE EXTENDED

Mice are expected to make a return next year to the North West.
However, the state government’s $150 million rebate program will also be extended into 2022.
Primary producers can now make multiple claims for zinc phosphide purchases up to $10,000.
“Summer could see the numbers come up again particularly with plenty of food laying in paddocks at the moment so we’ll just have to wait and see, we’re adopting a bit of a cautious approach.”
Small businesses and households can still claim up to $1000 and $500 respectively.
