ROAD TOLL GROWS IN NSW FOLLOWING TWO SEPARATE FATALS

Police are reminding motorists to take care on the road following fatal crashes at Lake Macquarie and Casino.
In the state’s north, emergency services were called to Carwong Road, Rappville, about 35km south of Casino at 8:30pm, after reports a Toyota Prado left the road and crashed into a tree.
The 61-year-old man behind the wheel, was treated by witnesses and emergency services at the scene, however he could not be revived.
Earlier on Friday afternoon, emergency services were also called to a crash at Mirrabooka, east of Morisset at Lake Macquarie.
A motorcyclist is believed to of been travelling along Dandaraga Road before striking a caravan parked in the driveway of a home.
The rider who is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged 31, died at the scene.
Reports for both incidents will now be prepared for the coroner.
