TWO TRUCKS DESTROYED BY FIRE IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS ON PACIFIC HIGHWAY
Two drivers have escaped with their lives after two separate truck fires on the Pacific Highway this morning.
Emergency services were called to a highway rest stop at Possum Brush on the Mid North Coast just before 8am, to find a truck well alight.
Thankfully, the driver managed to escape – and had no serious injuries.
Fire crews were also called to a separate truck fire, further north, at Ewingsdale (at the Hinterland Way on-ramp) on the North Coast.
It’s understood that driver also escaped from the cab uninjured.
Both trucks were left completely destroyed.
Police are investigating.
