SHIRLEE KING RETIRES FROM BIG W TAMWORTH AFTER 45 YEARS

It takes a special type of person to work in retail for 45 years, and Shirlee King has been part of the team at Tamworth Big W since the store opened in 1976.

After such a long career – she’s calling it a day, the local crew giving her a fabulous send off with flowers and balloons.

For the past two decades, she’s been behind the tech desk… the 85-year-old is now eager to relax and spend time with her grandchildren.
