GRUELLING FITNESS CHALLENGE NETS THOUSANDS FOR MENTAL HEALTH
Gym members and instructors have pushed themselves to their limits in Newcastle, raising money for mental health services.
Fitness enthusiasts from Pinpoint Athlete, rowing kilometre after kilometre in a gruelling challenge – each donation upping their goal.
“We’ve actually duct taped the coach into the rower and he’s not realised how much he has to do,” Pinpoint Athlete’s Billy Coffey said.
“His goal is 21, he doesn’t know he’s already at 30. We’ll tell him when he gets there.”
The so called ‘mullet men’ have raised more than $11,000 for the Black Dog Institute.
