There have been two stabbings in less than 24 hours in Tamworth…
Thomas Street was swamped with emergency services after a man was knifed in the face shortly after 1 o’clock this afternoon.
He was treated on the scene before being taken to Tamworth Hospital.
It comes after what appears to have been an unlinked attack in Cossa Street early this morning.
A 47-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his neck and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A 57-year-old man was arrested nearby.
