To help the clean-up in Armidale, the council is accelerating the process for development applications relating to tornado damaged properties.
It’s hoped this will help those who have been severely affected by the disaster to get a permanent roof over their heads sooner.
Residents are asked to get in contact with the council over the phone to discuss their personal situation.
