ONE NEW COVID CASE IN CLARENCE VALLEY WHILE BYRON REACHES VACCINATION MILESTONE

The Northern New South Wales district recorded one new covid case, a mystery infection in the Clarence Valley.

Investigations are underway to determine the source of the infection as well as contact tracing.

It comes as the region yesterday reached a vaccination milestone, with a little over 80 per cent of Byron Bay residents now receiving their first jab.
