The AFL season is officially over for Gold Coast Sun, Steven May, after he accepted a one-match sanction for striking St Kilda’s Steven Milne on Sunday.
The defenders action was deemed reckless and due to a poor record, his one-match ban couldn’t be reduced even with an early guilty plea.
He’ll miss the Suns final game against Greater Western Sydney on Sunday.
