More than 600 charges have been laid in a police operation targeting domestic violence across the state’s west.
The crackdown has aimed to prevent further offences – by checking compliance with apprehended domestic violence orders, and providing additional support to at-risk victims.
Over the past two weeks Operation Fair Play has seen 390 people charged across the New England, North West.
