TAREE’S BIGGEST BOATING FACILITY UPGRADED

The Manning Valley’s largest boating facility is undergoing an extreme makeover, with the first stage at Endeavour Place now complete.

The existing foreshore pathway has been extended – it now runs two kilometres along the Manning River.

“Our foreshore now has been so highly used since this footpath has gone in a now with the extension people can actually go into the bicentennial gardens and have a look through there, it’s a beautiful park and now more people can now go in and have a look,” said Sue Calvin from MidCoast Council.

Stage two will get underway early next year and involves carpark renovations and extending the boat ramp.
