A man is isolating after testing positive to covid at Purfleet, south of Taree.
It’s understood the man returned to the area from Sydney and was infectious in the community.
Contact tracing is ongoing.
Meanwhile, three positives were reported on the Mid North Coast.
One case each at Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie are linked to known cases, while one from the Nambucca Valley is still being investigated.
Drive-thru testing clinics will remain open on the long weekend.
