QUEENSLAND TRUCK DRIVER FOUND WITH COCAINE ON CENTRAL COAST

A Queensland man has allegedly been found concealing cocaine and testing positive for drugs on the Central Coast.
Police made the discovery last night at a weighbridge, on the Pacific Highway at Mount White.
The 54-year-old failed a roadside drug test, and his truck was subsequently searched.
Police say methamphetamine was found under the driver’s seat and two kilograms of cocaine was allegedly concealed under a mattress in the truck’s cabin.
The man was arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug more than large commercial quantity and possess prohibited drug.
He was formally refused bail today at Gosford Local Court and will reappear at the same court on November 19.
