GAV’S WEATHER | STORM THREAT EASING

The cut of low is still distinctly visible on the satellite spiraling over Victoria.
The trough is still lingering over eastern NSW and QLD helped to fire up more storms this afternoon into this evening.
The cut off low will finally clear from the SE helping to draw the wild weather out over the Tasman on the weekend.
As this system clears another will move in across the Bight this will helping to create a strong inland westerly influence.
The threat of storms will ease tomorrow but the cloud cover will build up on the western side of the Divide causing a few isolated showers to develop which may reach the Central Coast, Hunter to Macquarie coast areas.
Fine elsewhere before heating up on Sunday.
