Twenty teenagers have just been appointed to the Tamworth Regional Youth Council…
getting their first glimpse at how local government works.
The councillors, aged between 15 and 18, will have their say on day-to-day operations and play an active role in committees and working groups.
Issues on their priority list this year include mental health, inclusivity and celebrating Indigenous culture.
