Bluesfest will make its comeback next Easter long weekend.
Organisers are confident the state’s roadmap to reopening will allow the Byron Bay event to proceed in April 2022.
Acts named in the lineup for this October will return to perform – including Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly and Jimmy Barnes.
Anyone who has valid tickets for the festival is urged to hold onto them, as they can be used for new dates in April.
The event has been cancelled for two years in a row due to the pandemic.
