ED PATIENTS NOT SEEN FAST ENOUGH AT TAMWORTH HOSPITAL

Tamworth Hospital has been labelled one of the worst in the Hunter New England Health District for the timeliness of emergency treatments.

Just 52 per cent of patients in its emergency department were seen on time between April and June.

The Bureau of Health Information data also showed Narrabri is among the best, with a 90 per cent on-time rate.
