Police are investigating the cause of a blaze which destroyed this Coledale home overnight.
The rear of the derelict house on Green Street had already collapsed – by the time firefighters arrived, around 9:30pm.
It took 16 firefighters close to three hours to extinguish the flames.
Nobody was injured.
