POLICE INVESTIGATE STABBING ON THE CENTRAL COAST

A man has been taken to hospital under police guard after a domestic related stabbing on the Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to a unit on Railway Street at Woy Woy around 1:40pm on Sunday, where they found a 24-year-old stabbed in his stomach with injured hands.
Police also found a 74-year-old man with an injured head – he declined medical treatment and is assisting police with their inquiries.
The younger man has been taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition and remains under police guard.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District have established a crime scene and started an investigation into the incident.
The men are known to each other, and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
