Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on the North Coast.
Just after 8am, emergency services received reports a motorcycle had crashed into a median strip on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Chinderah, around 20km south of Tweed Heads.
Police attended and found the rider, a man aged in his 20s, with critical injuries.
He was treated by paramedics, but couldn’t be saved, and died at the scene.
A crime scene was set up, and an investigation into the crash has started.
