The Nambucca Valley community had a win in the budget with a additional $23-million allocated to build a new hospital at Macksville.
$50-million had already been allocated to renovate the existing site but the extra funding will now see a new hospital built on a Greenfields site at North Macksville.
Construction of the new facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

The budget also included $5-million for the planning of a $150-million expansion of Coffs Harbour’s Hospital
