A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after crashing his bike in Coledale this afternoon.
It’s understood the male rider, aged in his 30’s, left Warral Road and crashed into a chain mesh fence just before midday.
He was treated at the scene for injuries to his head, neck and ankle before being taken to Tamworth Base Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are investing the cause of the crash.
