A missing toddler has been reunited with her mother – after the young girl was found wandering alone on the Central Coast yesterday.
At around 10am yesterday the child was found alone at Springfield, with police launching an appeal for the girl’s family to come forward.
Just after 6pm information was given to police which led them to contact the child’s mother.
Officers were told the toddler was being minded by family members and there was a communication breakdown as to who was looking after the girl.
The girl was in the care of the Department of Family and Community Services overnight, the department will review the situation today.
