CNRU MAP OUT THE REST OF THEIR SEASON

After yesterday’s club vote, the Central North Rugby Union competition has put a plan in place for the remainder of the season.

The final regular rounds have been canceled, but when lockdown lifts there will be a two-weekend finals series play-off.

That can’t get underway any later than September 18.

“It’s probably the best outcome we can have given the situation of the times, its not ideal and I understand that but the position of the zone and the clubs was that to go with this.”

If the comp can get underway, Gunnedah takes on Tamworth and Narrabri plays Walcha in the first week of finals action.

The grand final will then take place on the highest-ranked team’s home turf.
