HAZARD REDUCTION BURNS SCHEDULED FOR CENTRAL COAST

A number of hazard reduction burns are taking place on the Central Coast, this weekend.

The burns are set for Mt White, Jilliby, Freemans Waterhole and Caves Beach, to reduce the bushfire fuel load in the communities.

Residents are encouraged to stay away from the activity for safety reasons.

More hazard reduction burns will be undertaken in the lead up to the bush fire danger period.
