In another devastating blow to the music industry, Splendour in the Grass has been cancelled for 2021.
The event, which usually takes place in July, had been rescheduled to November this year.
Organisers made the call to postpone the event to July 2022, due to the state’s growing COVID outbreak.
They also say if international borders don’t significantly reopen, the festival won’t go ahead.
Anyone with tickets is being encouraged to hold onto them.
