MORE DIGGING POSSIBLE IN COMING WEEKS AT OLD SCOUT CAMP

Excavation of a former Scout Camp at Nords Wharf continued today, with Lake Macquarie police moving to new dig areas on the site.

In a major development, detectives attached to Strike Force Arapaima have spent two days searching for the remains of teenagers Robyn Hickie and Amanda Robinson who went missing 42 years ago.

So far nothing significant has been uncovered and they wrapped up the search this afternoon, but further digs around Camp Kanangra are possible in coming weeks.

Police announced two $1-million rewards on Monday… anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
