After months of speculation, Rous County Council has today confirmed its plans to move its home base to Ballina.
Currently located on Molesworth Street in Lismore, staff have secured a site on Gallans Road near Ballina’s industrial estate.
Council says the new site will better serve the six LGAs in its region.
It argues it will also allow staff and operations to unify.
