After weeks of anticipation, Bendemeer product Josh Hazlewood has been selected for the T20 Men’s World Cup.
The fast bowler made an impressive return to the side last year.
More recently, Hazlewood gave a strong performance during tours in the West Indies and Bangladesh – securing his spot in the squad.
The 15-man team will also feature fellow cricket stars Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc.
They’re scheduled to depart for the United Arab Emirates in late September.
