‘FANTASTIC FRIDAY’ VACCINATION HUB TO OPEN AT INVERELL

The numbers are in from Armidale’s Super Saturday vaccination clinic – with 565 locals jabbed.

The hub will continue to be run by the University of New England Medical Centre over six weekends, to give residents better access to the vaccine.

Organisers have been so thrilled by the response, they’re now taking the event on the road.

“We’re putting it into a truck and we’re going to bring that free, mass vaccination clinic to Inverell for ‘Fantastic Friday’, this Friday. We’ll have a few nurses helping us out from the Inverell community, so we should have six or seven vaccinators.”

The so-called ‘Fantastic Friday’ will operate from 9.30am until 3pm at the Inverell Showground.

Anyone over the age of 18 can attend – all you need is a Medicare card.
