Bolivia Hill bridge’s northbound lane is set to open this week.
The $134 million project aims to provide a safer trip for 1,500 motorists traveling between Glen Innes and Tenterfield each day.
The 2-point-1 kilometre stretch of the New England Highway serves as an important route for both agricultural and mining industries.
“This project is going to create safer, smoother, and faster journeys for those that use it is also going to take out one of those black spots in the local area.”
The Southbound lane will also open in the next few weeks.
