LOCALS CALLED TO HAVE THEIR SAY ON ASSISTED DYING BILL

An online poll has been launched for North West residents to have their say on the state’s Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill.

If passed, it would allow some terminally ill patients in New South Wales the option of ending their life through euthanasia.

Northern Tablelands MP, Adam Marshall, is encouraging all locals to weigh in on the topic, before it’s put before parliament later this year.

“It is a very emotional issue for many, it does evoke a lot of passion, a lot of heated debate at times, and that’s why I want to make sure that I can collect a comprehensive view of the electorate.”

Those wanting to have their say can do so on Mr Marshall’s website.
